'Creative Teens' illustration and art classes (11-16 years)
Mondays, 6.00 - 7.00pm, Untitled Gallery + Studio, Coconut Grove, Darwin
Term 3 dates: 14 July - 15 September. Please note: classes won’t run on the Picnic Day public holiday, Monday 4 August.

Explore a mix of traditional illustration and art techniques and mediums, including graphite, pen and ink, watercolour, and acrylic.
These classes balance technical skills with experimentation, creative thinking, problem solving, and self-expression. Suitable for beginners and those with intermediate experience. Recommended for students aged 11-16.

Term 3 projects will include:
Acrylic painting - insects
Portraiture - watercolour, graphite shading, tone, texture and contrast
Experimental drawing techniques and introduction to printmaking

Term 3 enrolment (9 weeks): $252, all materials provided
2-week trial pass: $60, all materials provided
Important info:
Classes are drop-off / pick-up style - parents and guardians are welcome to pop into the studio at pick-up to see student work
Doors open 5 minutes before class starts
All materials provided - enjoy experimenting with a range of artist quality materials!
Classes include a range of 1-week and multi-week projects. Finished work is sent home throughout the term, sketchbooks can be taken home at the end of term
Small class sizes (max 10-12 students) allow for plenty of 1:1 support, while fostering relationships with other young creative people
Students are encouraged to bring a drink bottle and to wear clothes that are suitable for art making (in case of paint splashes!)
